Spending habits are like poor eating habits and it can all be about lack of self control.
If you enjoy your food and are aware of your body and it’s needs, you sense when to stop eating and put the brakes on poor eating habits.
When you eat to consume, you eat and eat without giving thought to what you are eating and the consequences to your body and often you consume far more than what your body needs or wants.
Eating food with enjoyment and being aware of your food as you eat it fills you up and creates contentment. Consumption does not. It evokes negative thought patterns, body image and can be very self destructive.
The question to ask yourself – Do you spend your money with awareness thus creating pleasure and enjoyment or do you spend your money to consume and is it self-destructive?
